When you hire a digital agency to create your new website, app or other project, you should be asking them about how they manage projects – project management is a crucial factor in reaching an end result that you’re happy with.
Assigning roles effectively is a big part of successful project management. The digital agency should have a project or programme manager that will have visibility over the whole project, and a team of experts with designated roles in order to ensure that your project is a success.
You can ask them questions such as:
– Do you have a dedicated project manager that will be the go to person for the project?
– What different roles will individual people in your agency have within the project? What makes them worthy of the job?
– Do you specifically have someone with the title Programme/Project Manager at your agency i.e. someone that oversees all ongoing projects and has visibility over the all resource allocations?
